Obscure: The Aftermath is a sequel to the popular survival horror game Obscure. Two years ago, in Leafmore High, a group of young teens was trapped inside their school and pursued by monsters unleashed by the obsessive school principal. Some survived that dreadful night, while others perished. Now, the survivors have moved on with their lives and enrolled in college. However, everything is not right at Fallcreek University. Strange black flowers suddenly appeared everywhere on campus. Experimenting with these flowers in class, a dangerous substance is discovered, leading to bizarre yet living nightmares. However, a handful of students soon realizes that the flowers are more than anyone could expect; when the seeds finally sprout, a bad trip suddenly turns into a horrifying reality.
This is the best PSP horror game that runs smoothly on a smartphone with just 1GB RAM; it has been crafted with various gameplay mechanics. The game is excellent for people with low-spec phones, and it features very realistic graphics.

When the original Obscure game arrived in 2005, it introduced players to a somewhat new approach to the survival horror subgenre with full cooperative play. Although the game received mixed reviews, the cooperative element was definitely praiseworthy and has been appropriately carried over to the sequel, Obscure: The Aftermath. Aftermath hit various platforms early last year, and I was somewhat pleased with certain aspects of the experience. The mix of cooperative play and survival horror was a fun concept and was executed wonderfully in some atmospheric environments. The musical score was icing on the cake, with the stunning and amazing orchestral soundtrack performed by the Boston String Quartet and the Paris Opera Children’s Choir.
After over a year, Obscure: The Aftermath has found its way to the PSP system. A direct port to some extent of its console predecessors, Aftermath on the PSP once again follows a group of university students whose campus has been overrun by hordes of monsters and mutations thanks to an evil dark flower that has sprung up around the school.
